以前からどうしようか思案していたのが、カムボックスの分割です。
三方向から穴が貫通しているため、普通の型では中央から左右に分割せざるをえません。
試作品は、とりあえずそうしてありますが、それでは中央に合わせ目が出てしまい、とても目立ち、ハンダで修正するのも困難な形状でした。
型をなんとか工夫して、分割を変え、合わせ目が目立たないようにしてみました。
左が旧試作品、右が今回修正したものです。

複雑な形状を 中子をいれた砂型で鋳造しているようです。

試作品を組み立てました。
The prototype was assembled.

下は真鍮原型です。
キャブレターが大きすぎたため、小さく作り直し、オイルパン形状等を修正してあります。
The top is brass prototype. Because the carburetor be too large, it recreates the prototype, small, oil pan form and the like is corrected.
