クラシックレーサーの多くは、ワイアースポークのホイールが装着されています。50年代〜60年代のGPレーサーには、H型アルミリムが使用されて、クラシックレーサーというとH型のイメージになりますね。サイズはというと、21吋、20吋、19吋、18吋と、年代や車種によって様々なサイズが使用されています。20吋や21吋というと、オフロードモデルのフロントホイールみたいですが、50年代の初頭には、このサイズが主流で、19吋は小径だったそうです。時代とともに小径化されているようで、80年代に16吋まで小さくなりましたが、ラジアルタイアの登場で、17吋が主流になり、しばらく落ち着いていましたが、最近では16.5吋なんていうのが出てきて、ふただび小径化の波がやってきたのでしょうか。
1吋は25.4ミリですので 1/9の世界では 、2.82222…ミリですが、この約３ミリをどう考えるか、頭を悩ますところです。プロターのキットはリムの外径が約56ミリになっています。すべてのキットを計ったわけではありませんが、ほとんどのスポークホイールを使用する車種がこのサイズになっているようです。例外もあり、BMWRSはフロント53.5ミリ、リア52ミリとちょっと小さいので、他にも例外があると思います。なにが問題かというと、20吋も19吋も18吋も全て同じサイズでできているということです。他のメーカーではエッシーのトライアンフ3Hは前後とも56.6ミリ、RAEのトライアンフT120はフロント54.5ミリ、リア52ミリ、BSAゴールドスターはフロント55.5ミリ、リア54ミリです。数値は正確ではありませんが、随分ばらつきがあります。
実車はどうかというと、18吋が外径約482ミリ、19吋は外径約507ミリ（車体に装着したまま計っていますので、正確ではありませんが）ですので、1/9にすると、それぞれ53.5555…、56.33333…となり、RAEのゴ-ルドスターがフロント19吋、リア18吋で、この値に近いということが分かります。プロターはというと、ちょっと小さめの19吋ということですね。同じプロターでも18吋キャストホイールであるはずのRG500は約53ミリで、ちゃんと18吋になっています。
このホイールサイズの差をどう考えるか、ですが、あまり考えては、完成しなくなりますので、ま、いいかと考えて気にしないようにするのがいいと思います。ホイールを正しいサイズに直しても、他のパーツとのバランスもありますしね。
なお、コスモズファクトリー製のリムは56ミリになっています。

Though all kits weren't measured, the car kind which uses most sporkwheels seems to be this size. It thinks that there is an exception in others as well because there is an exception, too, and BMWRS is a little small with front 53.5mm and the rear 52mm.When it is said what is a problem, it is that it can be done in the size which is completely the same no less than 19 inches no less than 18 inches.
A BSA gold star is in the rear 54mm with TRIUMPH 3H of ESCI with TRIUMPH T120 of RAE with a reception desk with a reception desk with front and back as well in other manufacturers in the rear 56.6mm 54.5mm 52mm 55.5mm. Though it isn't accurate, there is dispersion very much in the numerical value.
When please it says, as for the actual car, 18 inches is about outside diameter 507mm (It isn't accurate because it is being measured with being attached to the body.) about 482mm 19 inches as to the outside diameter. When 1/9 is taken, they become each 53.5555…, 56.33333…, and it is understood that the gold star of RAE is close to this value in front 19 inches and the rear 18 inches. When PUROTAR is said, it is 19-inch a little small thing.RG500 which must be a cast wheel with the same PUROTAR 18 inches is 18 inches neatly by about 53mm.
It thinks that it is good to make it think whether it is good and not care very much however because it thinks how it thinks about the difference in this wheel size and stops being completed.Even if a wheel is converted into the correct size, it has balance with other parts, too.
And, rim manufactured by COSMO'S FACTORY is 56mm.
