　今回は、かなり最新のMOTO-GPマシン、です。ライダーはおなじみのバレンチーノ・ロッシです。それにしても、ロッシはすごいなー、2000年にチャンピオンを獲得してから、ほとんど無敵の強さで、もう、永遠に、チャンピオンを獲得し続けるんじゃないかという勢い（そんな訳ないけど）、ところが今年、ヤマハに移籍、ヤマハ贔屓の私でも、ここ数年のヤマハの成績をみると、チャンピオンは望めないんじゃないかと思ってしまったのだが、なんと、今年の前半戦終了時には、ランキング1位を確保しているうれしさ、このままチャンピオン獲得で、ヤマハに11年ぶりの栄冠をもたらしてほしい。
　ホンダでチャンピオンを獲得したライダーが、ヤマハに移籍した例はこれまで、スペンサー、ローソン、クリビーレと3人いるんですけど、いずれもいい成績はあげていません。逆にヤマハからホンダに移籍したローソンは、チャンピオンになっています。ローソン以来の渡りチャンピオンを実現してくれ。

プロターとイタレリが合併して、最初の1/9新製品です。それまでの、プロター末期の、ここまで一体成形しなくても…という造りから一転、ずいぶんとタミヤチックな構成になっております。ただ、プロターのアイデンティティ？であるサスペンションの可動は健在で、いつもなら、Fフォークのインナーを金属に置き換えて固定してしまうのですが、今回は、敬意を表して（ほんとはめんどくさかったかったから）、可動のままくんでいます。ピコピコFサスが動くのも楽しいですね。最近のマシンは、メカっぽい部分がほとんど見えなくなってしまうので、どうもやる気が起きず、ほとんどストレートに組んであります。フレームの内側等、手を加えた方がいい部分も数多くありますが、そのままでもちゃんと完成できるものになっています。
YZR-M1や、デスモセディッチも出るみたいで、期待大なのですが、クラシックのシリーズも忘れないでね。
